National symposium

On the 27th of may 2008,during the Olympic week,the Alba branch of the Romanian Olympic Academy organized the nation symposium with the generic title "Past and present in the history and the contemporaneousness of physical exercise and of the Olympic Games".

The large thematic permitted interesting approaches ,without limits or artificial restrictions.Therefore,since the month of February,invitations to participate were sent to all the district branches,to honor the event through adequate contributions .Unfortunately, the presence at the workings was situated beneath expectations,only the Arad and Hunedoara branch sending it's representative to Alba Iulia.Even in this context,the communications can be characterized as positive,as well as the initiative to offer some highschool students,members of Olympic Circles, the chance to express themselves.They took the opportunity seriously ,prepared seriously and have succeded to face the rigors of such an event.

The action being part of the national program of the Romanian Olympic Academy,which was present at the workings through a representative,enjoyed the deserved support,giving away to all the attendees diplomas of participation and promotional articles,offered by the Romanian Olympic and Sport Committee.

With this occasion,the third number of the publication "Aspirations" was launched,also the work "Saintly Parents and christian apologists.About the physical exercise and competition".
